I am excited to begin my journey for the church. I have been tasked with joining Deneir, a chosen paladin of Bahamut at Bahamut’s Keep, far to the north to investigate the strange tidings our prophets have received. I hope to meet with him in Rell. I am leaving Colombine tomorrow, to set out for Eagle Pass. The good people here make my heart joyous. I have made a good friend of Jorgan, one of the guards. He is like minded as me in the importance of law and justice. I hope to see him again
I want to note this encounter as I break this day for lunch. There is a strange group of Pelorian Priests here, from a sect I have not heard of. This troubles me, for I have studied the tenants of the faith, and do not recognize their practices. They did nor perform any blessings or rituals upon our greeting, nor before our meal. They seem suspicious to me, though I cannot sense an evil aura about them. I have a foreboding feeling about these travelers. I will be sure to ask about them in the next town.
